Unforgettable Experiences Await
During the retreat, we will learn a lot about Sámi culture. The Sámi are the only recognized indigenous people in the European Union area. In Finland one of their traditional living areas is located around Lake Inari. Inari has significant cultural centers, such as the Siida Sámi Museum, which showcases the history and culture of the Sámi people, and Sajos, which serves as the Sámi Parliament building and cultural center. Lake Inari itself is an important place with many sacred sites and traditional living environments for the Sámi.

I follow the white fly drifting with the current. Its speed increases until it dives into an eddy formed by a stone resting in the riverbed, only to rise sharply to the surface and continue its journey.
